Damaged 1910s Black Silk Satin Dress, Eyelet Back Panel, 40 inch bust, Ankle length Vintage gown

ERA: True vintage item from the 1910s

MEASUREMENTS: the item is 48 inches long, it will fit a 40 inch bust with room (44 inches around under arms) 50 inches around hips. Shoulders are 17 inches wide and sleeves are 22 inches long

MATERIAL: silk satin, chiffon

LABEL: none

Black silk satin dress with long sleeves. The dress is a longer length, above ankles. V-neck with collar. There is a piece on the back that is sheer silk crepe with embroidered eyelet cutwork with satin at the bottom. There are ties at the waist that ties in the front. Pullover style with no openings, the dress is unlined.

CONDITION: The dress is in fair condition. The underarm is all torn up with some fabric missing on one side of the dress. The other underarm has another tear and wear with fade. Both sleeves are torn at the back of the elbows. Large repair down the edge of the chiffon piece on the back and repair across the cutwork also on the sheer piece. Scattered small holes over the dress.
