This tall Czech art glass vase is attributed to Borske Sklo, Czechoslovakia, and dates from the mid-20th century. The glass is a particularly deep purple which can look almost black until light passes through it, while the tapered cylindrical body is decorated with broad reflective gilt bands and contrasting fine white enamel lines.
