A vintage Chinese shell ornament with colourful cloisonne-style enamel floral decoration and gilt wirework. The natural shell has a pale blue ground with pink blossoms, green leaves and white detailing, together with its original loop for hanging.

Made from a natural shell with enamel and gilt wire decoration, this Chinese hanging ornament has a floral design continuing around the shell in pale blue, pink, green and white. A decorative late 20th-century example with its suspension loop still in place. Good surface finish.
