This is a Peter Ponzol neck in gold lacquer for alto saxophone, it's in great condition and the tennon measures 0.967-inch at its widest. 

Physically this neck is in great condition, a few scratches to the lacquer that aren't very deep, nothing is really flaking off or worn through in large patches. It looks pretty smooth, and there's no pull down. The neck wasn't really used much, but it could use a new cork, this one is dry.

This neck seems to have a reddish hue against the brass tennon internally, this indicates that it's made of bronze-brass. It's hard to fit this neck on any modern or vintage sax, its tennon is too wide. so we do not know what it plays like. It will need to be fitted to any horn certainly.
