A vintage Goebel Hummel Puppy Love porcelain figurine, showing a young boy playing his violin while his dog sits beside him. This West German figure combines two strong subjects, the familiar Hummel child figure and a dog, with the original Puppy Love identification label partly remaining.

Puppy Love, model HUM 1, was first modelled by Arthur Moeller in 1935 and depicts a young violinist accompanied by his small dog. This later West German example carries the TMK5 Last Bee factory mark, dating it to the 1972–1979 production period. It is made from glazed porcelain with Goebel's characteristic hand-painted decoration, including the boy's orange jacket, green trousers, dark hat and the small reddish-brown dog seated alongside.
