A vintage Wade porcelain Little Miss Muffet figurine from the Nursery Rhyme range. Made in England, the figure shows Miss Muffet seated on her tuffet holding her bowl, with the small spider worked into the scene beneath her dress.

This larger Wade Little Miss Muffet belongs to the Nursery Rhyme Favourites family of figures rather than the much smaller Wade Whimsies commonly encountered under the same subject. Period examples of this larger range are identified with the early 1970s Nursery Favourites series. Finished in glossy brown and olive tones, the figure retains its impressed Wade England marking underneath.
