This is a Vincent Bach 3C current production mouthpiece for Bb Trumpet. This mouthpiece is showing a bit of plate wear but it still plays great with a solid response.

The Vincent Bach Corp. mouthpieces have been a mainstay for brass players since the mid 20th century. The more common 7C has a deeper cup and a more thin rim, this mouthpiece differs from the standard beginner piece, and has a more shallow cup. Consequently the mouthpiece produces a more pointed cutting tone.
