Joseph Richardson Jr. of Philadelphia Pennsylvania small coin silver teaspoon. Circa 1773 to 1813. J. Richardson Jr. was appointed by George Washington in 1795 as the assayer of the U.S. Mint in Philadelphia.  He served in that position until he died in 1831.  There is a deep scratch on the back of the bowl. Monogrammed on the front in block letters. Measures approximately 5 inches long.
