An Otis King cylindrical calculator (Model K) with box and instruction leaflet. In a very good working condition with minimal signs of use, seems to have a box with a slightly different serial no. written on it. Scales are excellent and glossy with minimal signs of use - there are a couple of light discoloured spots which are hardly noticeable - serial no. U8448, dating it to circa 1959/1960.

 

Marked to scales as PATENT NO 183723, OTIS KING'S POCKET CALCULATOR SCALE NO. 423 & SCALE NO. 414. Comes with an 8-page manual (some sellotaping to spine). 

A fascinating scientific or mathematical collectable, dating to circa the 1970s.
