A fantastic, period accurate camera and lens bundle great for daily shooting.

The camera is a Minolta XD7 35mm film SLR camera in good condition for its age. The camera is in fully working condition, with accurate metering and shutter speeds. The camera was serviced by a local professional a few years ago, and should continue to work reliably for years to come. There are some minor signs of use on the camera body, and some dust in the finder, but these are minor points that have no impact on the shooting. There is some slight desilvering on the bottom of the mirror, but this is not visible in the viewfinder and has no negative impact on focusing.

Included are two Minolta lenses - the MD 50mm f/1.4 and MD 35mm f/2.8. They are both the full-metal body variants, which are rarer to come by than the part/full plastic variants, and are period accurate to when the XD7 was manufactured (if that’s important to you!) Both lenses are in superb physical and optical condition. Very smooth operation and no discernible scratches, fungus or haze. The results from these lenses are incredible with great sharpness, colours and contrast - please refer to the same images included in the listing.

Included are front and rear caps for both lenses, and a factory-original lens hood for the 35mm f/2.8 lens.

This is a great combination that will serve any film photographer, whether a beginner or enthusiast, very well. I’m only selling as I’m shifting from 35mm to medium format. Open to reasonable offers.
