BOOK OF OLD ENGLISH SONGS & BALLADS - Ist edition .

24, Absolutely beautiful Colour Illustrations By Eleanor Fortescue Brickdale . 198 pages.

Ex Libris period plate on inner board .

Original green cloth cover with red lettering and darker green floral ornaments.

Really lovely condition for age - some cover fading and spotting to top rear of book . Light browning internally but minimal foxing or marking . Plates are bright and vivid.

Book itself is completely sound and really very little bumping considering age .

A wonderful addition to a collectors library - I’d keep it if I wasn’t putting girls through Uni !
