The Voightlander Ultramatic CS with 50mm Septon f2 lens is a classic SLR camera from West Germany from the 1960s known for both its stunning looks and complexity. It hails from an era when SLRs were rapidly evolving and represented the pinnacle of design for Voigtlander. The camera body is downright beautiful and near mint in appearance, but the winding lever only travels partway, and thus the camera is presently non-functional. When I took off the bottom plate to see if there was an obvious fix a tiny part fell out, which I saved and is provided, though I have no idea where it belongs. Evidently this was doing something important for the very complex leaf shutter mechanism, and repair might be possible by someone more knowledgeable than me. The 50 mm Septon f2 lens is in excellent condition and appears fully functional. This camera also features a built-in light meter, and was one of the first capable of making automatic exposures. It is an example of ambitious design outstripping durability,  but still manages to look fabulous after 60 years! It Is being offered as is, for those who appreciate vintage cameras, since this Voightlander camera is a timeless piece for any film camera collection.
