During the first half of the 1990s, New York's Victor Simonelli notched up countless international club hits under a dizzying array of aliases - most notably Groove Committee, NY'S Finest and Solution. Then there was Cloud Nine, an alias utilised for a sole single, 1992's 'Do You Want Me Baby'. That single, here reissued, remains one of Simonelli's greatest moments - a warm, dreamy and languid chunk of deep house/garage-house fusion that smartly utilised elements from Surface boogie classic 'Falling In Love' and vocal elements from Andrea Martin's 'Dirty Love'. As it did 34 years ago, the EP contains four mixes from the man behind the record: the much-loved 'Club Mix', a handy beats tool, the rather wonderful 'Deep Dub', and the gorgeous 'Dream Instrumental'.
