The MV650i has been tested and is working well. The MV630i is ideal as a playback camcorder but has a recording fault, making this an excellent package for transferring MiniDV tapes.

* No live image is displayed through the LCD or viewfinder when attempting to record, suggesting a faulty CCD/image sensor.

* Playback functions correctly, making it suitable as a MiniDV playback/transfer camcorder.

* LCD has cosmetic display defects/pressure marks.
