Vivitar Series 1 70-210mm f/3.5 VMC Kiron Minolta MD/M Macro Zoom Clean.

A very clean example of the early Vivitar Series 1 VMC 70-210mm f/3.5 Macro Focusing Auto Zoom lens in Minolta MD/M mount.

The serial number begins with 22, identifying it as the early Version 1 design manufactured by Kino Precision, also known as Kiron. The barrel is also marked “Patents Pending.”

This substantial, all-metal vintage telephoto zoom features a constant f/3.5 maximum aperture throughout the zoom range, manual focusing and a close-focusing macro setting.

The lens is in very good condition for its age. The optics appear clear, with no fungus or haze visible. The aperture blades are clean and operate quickly and snappily. The focus and push-pull zoom controls operate correctly.

Condition details:

As with any vintage lens, a small amount of internal dust or minor age-related wear may be present, but nothing that appears significant.
