This moulded crystal compote or pedestal plate was made by Mikasa in the clear, pink and frosted version of their Blossom Time pattern, which was in production from 1988 to 1992. It features five-petalled pink and frosted flowers and leaves under the upper surface and a smooth glossy inner surface, making it easy to clean. Please note that the flowers are not red, but pink - I took the photographs in bright sunlight and the light has made the pink appear red! The frosted pedestal echoes the petals and leaves of the flowers. It will be great for serving small fruit, small cakes, cookies and pastries.  

The compote is 10 cm (4 inches) tall and 17 cm (6.75 inches) in diameter across the top. It weighs 685 grams before packaging. 

This item is in excellent previously owned condition, with no chips or cracks, and no visible surface wear. It appears unused.
