Manufacturers blurb below:-

The Poly BlackWire 5210 (originally branded by Plantronics) is a professional wired, single-ear (monaural) on-ear headset meticulously designed for extensive PC communication, call centres, and hybrid work environments. It stands out for balancing all-day wearing comfort with broad unified communications (UC) versatility.

Key Features & Design

• Monaural Layout: The single-ear configuration keeps one ear completely free, allowing you to stay fully aware of your physical surroundings or talk to office colleagues.
• Dual Connectivity: It features a modular cable setup; the headset natively terminates in a 3.5 mm jack for mobile phones or tablets, which then plugs directly into a detachable inline controller equipped with either a USB-A or USB-C connection for computers.
• All-Day Comfort: Engineered with an ultra-soft memory foam ear cushion wrapped in premium artificial leatherette and a cushioned, lightweight metal headband. It weighs just 125 grams to eliminate neck strain during back-to-back meetings.

Audio & Microphone Performance

• Noise-Cancelling Microphone: The flexible boom microphone filters out distracting background noise and limits nearby conversations, ensuring remote clients only hear your voice.
• Dynamic EQ & DSP: Enhanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) optimizes voice frequencies during telephony wideband calls, then automatically shifts EQ curves for crisp audio during multimedia or music playback.
• Hearing Protection: Built-in SoundGuard DIGITAL technology safeguards your hearing by blocking audio spikes above 118 dBA and shielding against long-term acoustic exposure.

Control & Compatibility

• Inline Remote Controls: Provides one-touch tactile buttons to seamlessly answer or end calls, adjust volume levels, and mute the microphone.
• Dynamic Mute Alert: The headset visually and audibly warns you if you start speaking while the system is muted.
• Certified Software Platforms: It is fully certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom, and works plug-and-play across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. It can be centrally managed by IT departments using the Poly Lens software platform.
