London, Ende 18. Jh., für den osmanischen Markt. Äüßeres Transportgehäuse Silber mit floralem Gravurdekor D=72mm, 
2. Gehäuse mit Schildpattauflage und Ziernageldekoration D=60mm, 3. Gehäuse Silber,D= 50mm. 
Uhrengehäuse ich glaube Messing, innen vergoldet. 

Emailzifferblatt mit osmanischen Ziffern,guter Zustand. 
Vollplatinenwerk mit Spindelhemmung, vergoldeter Unruhkloben mit fein durchbrochenem Rankenwerk und Vasenmotiv, zierliche, vasenförmige, durchbrochene Pfeiler, Schlüsselaufzug, Alterungsspuren,die Uhr ist funktionsfähig. 
Mit silberner Königskette und wunderschöne Silberschlüssel. 

Gesamtgewicht mit Kette ca. 240 g mit Kette und Schlüßel. Durchmesser Uhrengehäuse 4,3 cm. 

Der englische Uhrmacher Edward Prior (Signatur der Rückplatine) wurde 1780 als Sohn des George Prior geboren und führte die Werkstatt nach dem Tod seines Vaters 1814 fort. Während bei der vorliegenden Spindeltaschenuhr das Werk von Prior stammt, wurde die gesamte Uhr von der Firma Marwick Markham und Perigal zusammengebaut. Die berühmte Uhrmacherfirma Marwick Markham, gegründet um 1720, arbeitete ab ca. 1770 mit anderen Uhrmachern zusammen, darunter der hier auf dem Zifferblatt genannte Francis Perigal (oder Perrigal), der 1781 bis zu seinem Tod 1794 als freies Mitglied in der Gilde tätig war und als Hersteller technisch anspruchsvoller Uhren galt. Die Uhrmacherfirma Marwick Markham war bekannt für die Herstellung von kostbaren Taschenuhren für den osmanischen Markt.
Innenseite von dem äusseren Gehäuse ist ein Zettel geklebt,da steht "Überholt Intakt" 

aber wann  das gemacht wurde weiß ich nicht.
Die Uhr ist funktionsfähig aber braucht besser eine professionelle Revision.

London, late 18th century, made for the Ottoman market.

 Outer protective case of silver with floral engraved decoration (dia. 72 mm); 2nd case with tortoiseshell overlay and decorative studwork (dia. 60 mm); 3rd case of silver (dia. 50 mm). Watch case likely brass, gilded on the inside. 

Enamel dial with Ottoman numerals; good condition. Full-plate movement with verge escapement; gilded balance cock featuring finely pierced scrollwork and a vase motif; delicate, vase-shaped, pierced pillars; key-wound; signs of age; the watch is in working order. Includes a silver "King's chain" and a beautiful silver key. 

Total weight (including chain and key) approx. 240 g. Watch case diameter 4.3 cm. 

The English watchmaker Edward Prior (signature on the back plate) was born in 1780, the son of George Prior, and continued the workshop after his father's death in 1814. While the movement of this verge pocket watch was made by Prior, the watch as a whole was assembled by the firm of Marwick Markham and Perigal. The renowned watchmaking firm Marwick Markham, founded around 1720, began collaborating with other watchmakers from about 1770 onwards; these included Francis Perigal (or Perrigal)—named here on the dial—who was an independent member of the guild from 1781 until his death in 1794 and was regarded as a maker of technically sophisticated watches. The watchmaking firm Marwick Markham was known for producing fine pocket watches for the Ottoman market. A label is affixed to the inside of the outer case reading "Overhauled/Intact," though I do not know when this work was performed.
