Vintage Cadburys Coffee Creme Chocolate Vending Dummy Bar 1950s Shop Display Advertising

DESCRIPTION

A rare piece of British confectionery and advertising history. This is an original mid-century Cadbury’s Pineapple flavour "dummy bar" for use in a vending machine.

In the 1950s and 60s, vending machines used these wood/plaster mock-up bars to advertise stock without risking the real chocolate melting in the sun.

 

Because the Coffee Creme flavour was discontinued in the UK decades ago, surviving dummy bars for this specific block are incredibly difficult to find.

 

This is an authentic, time-aged piece. It shows organic wear consistent with a 60-year-old shop advertisement, including minor scuffs to the wrapper edges, natural paper toning, and light storage creasing. It retains its original weight and solid display core.

Perfect for serious confectionery collectors, kitchen/shop museum displays, or premium TV/Film period props.

CONDITION Time-aged piece. It shows organic wear consistent with a 60-year-old shop advertisement, including minor scuffs to the wrapper edges, natural paper toning, and light storage creasing. A patch of text to the reverse is worn. It has NOT been digitally restored or altered. It retains its original weight and solid display core. Any other surface wear is commensurate with the obvious age of the piece and handling over time.
