The 2024/25 season saw Motherwell compete in the Scottish Premiership under three different managers, with Stuart Kettlewell departing in January before Michael Wimmer arrived in February to guide the club through the final months of the campaign. The Steelmen finished eighth in the Premiership on 49 points, narrowly missing out on a place in the top six before the league split, while also reaching the semi-finals of the Scottish League Cup. Young midfielder Lennon Miller continued his emergence as one of Scotland's brightest talents, playing a key role alongside Tom Sparrow and Tawanda Maswanhise during the season. The campaign marked Motherwell's 40th consecutive season in Scotland's top flight, extending one of the longest uninterrupted stays in Premiership history.
