Limited Edition 1978 Military Cover and insert commemorating Belgium WWI Air Ace and aviation pioneer, Edmond Thieffry - Belgium's 3rd ranked Air Ace with 10 WWI victories, and who along with Leopold Roger & Jef de Bruycker made the first successful flight between Belgium and Belgium Congo. The cover is cancelled with the unique "2nd Squadron Florence" date stamp on 21 January 1978. The reverse of the cover has the "Royal Air Force Museum Hendon" cancellation stamp. The insert details Edmond Thieffry's aviation feats. Cover and insert are in great condition. Cat: C55b - Ltd Edition.
