Nice stamp showing a good example of the rarest Mahukona CDS postmark.

Although it looks very much like Meyer Harris # 253.01, 
This is in fact Meyer Harris # 255.01.
There are a few distinguishing characteristics without being able 
to measure the most obvious difference of the diameter.
The upright lines of the U and K are more parallel,
the bottom of the A points toward the N rather than under it, and
the distance from the top of the letters to the outer ring is greater.

This postmark had limited usage from
about November 1899 until June 1900, 
and it is estimated that there are less than 75 known examples.
