By album sixteen, Duran Duran could be forgiven for coasting. A Halloween-themed mix of covers and reworks suggests as much. It's more considered than that. 'Danse Macabre' sits on a tight electronic pulse, synths kept crisp while Simon Le Bon leans into the theatrical without overdoing it. 'Night Boat' is reworked with heavier bass and a darker, more controlled arrangement. Then 'Super Lonely Freak' locks two ideas together over a clean, driving rhythm. Overall, it's playful but well judged.
