Wide half-staff braid made of metallic gold thread. It was used by the Imperial Russian Guard, Army Guard cavalry, and certain Cossack units for trimming NCO collars and cuffs, Army and Guard standard-bearer baldrics, long-service chevrons, officers’ saddlecloths and holsters, as well as drum aprons.
