Vivian Moon is such a good real name we're surprised the American ever felt the need for an alias, but Pastel Ghost is it, and this is her sophomore full-length. The "dream wave" architect pulls you ever deeper into her signature nocturnal world here with glacial synth lines, shadowed rhythms and ghostly vocals suspended somewhere between memory and, well, dream. Tracks like 'Possession,' 'Sakura' and 'Underwater' balance dancefloor vibes with cinematic melancholy that is weightless yet emotionally direct. Fans of Chromatics, Drab Majesty and Beach House will find familiar textures here, all reworked with Pastel Ghost's own icy, reverb-soaked touch.
