Der Künstler skizzierte mit einfachen Linien die Knochenbewegungen der Ochsen. Die Pinselstriche sind erfahren und flüssig, die Linien kraftvoll und zeigen präzise künstlerische Ausdruckskraft. Dieses Werk spiegelt die landwirtschaftlich geprägte Denkweise der alten Agrarnation wider und ist eines der wenigen Papier-Seiden-Gemälde der Tang-Dynastie mit hohem Sammlerwert!
* Die Inschrift zum Thema des Bildes stammt von dem späteren Maler und Kalligraphen der Qing-Dynastie, Jin Nong (1687-1763)!
