This is a  Franklin Mint/Armour 1/48 Scale Diecast model of a UH-1 "Huey" helicopter.  This is a model of the fairly famous "The Good Widow Jones", and is Franklin Mint Item #98198.

Overall, the model is really good-looking. The diecast areas are unmarred; no scratches or dings, and the decals are intact and very good. However, it is an old model, and has been repaired in several area:

1)  The tail rotor was completely replaced.
2)  The starboard (Right) side machine gun has a new barrel and has been glued in a fixed position.
3) The main rotor has been fixed by adding additional support wires on the underside of the blades near the hub using Superglue.
4) The tail skid, or "stinger" has been reattached.

Despite these fixes, the aircraft still has several moving parts which work.
The main rotor, tail rotor, and port (Left) side machine gun all move as designed.

The main rotor blades are supposed to pop off and pop on, but one is now permanently attached.  The blade which can be popped on and off is not terribly reliable; if I bought this model the first thing I would due is Super Glue that blade to its mounting point.  (For shipping, I will pop off one blade just to reduce package size  --  see last photo.)
