When I was an undergraduate back in the Pliestocene, I attended a
local band's concert. The talented lead guitarist played through 2,
cranked Leslie rotary cabs placed at opposite ends of the stage. I was
completely blown away by the sound and FEEL of those cabs, and have been
chasing that experience in my guitar playing ever since. I've come
pretty close to it using the Deluxe Lester G pedal without the cost and
hassle of lugging around the originals.
There
are several rotary speaker simulators available, but if you're seeking
that classic Leslie vibe, complete with overdrive and control over
speaker rotation rate, then this is the pedal for you. The Deluxe
Lester G does it best, IMHO. Plug in your guitar, cabs (no headphone jack on this one), and expression
pedal and you're ready to rock.
Lightly-used in
my smoke-free, pet-free home studio only, this pedal is in EXCELLENT
cosmetic and functional condition. Comes with the OEM power supply as
well but no manual. I recommend downloading one, if needed, from the manufacturer's website.
