Offered for sale is a highly collectible and exceptionally rare piece of vintage Ohio art pottery: the Weller Pottery Black Americana figural batter mixing bowl. 4 1/2" high, 11" across the top. Incited 'Weller' mark and handwritten kiln placer mark on bottom.

This 1930s piece features a classic cream-colored fluted ceramic body with a distinctive integrated pouring spout. The functional handle is uniquely sculpted into a detailed, hand-painted figure categorizing it within historic Black Americana ceramic art.

The bowl is in solid structural condition with beautiful, vibrant hand-painted details remaining on the figural handle. The bottom shows a clean, authentic unglazed dry foot rim. PLEASE NOTE: there is a single visible glaze chip located directly on the edge of the pouring spout, which is clearly documented in the accompanying photographs. Fine, faint glaze crazing is present consistent with age and authentic 1930s Weller glazes, but there are no deep structural cracks, hairline fractures, or professional repairs.
