APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Required Tools:

1. Household spray bottle

2. Liquid detergent or soap

3. Soft cloths

4. Scissors

5. Craft knife or single-edge razor blade

6. Plastic squeegee or credit card

Preparation:

1. It may require two people for proper installation of this product.

2. The Guardian Stripez decal strip and the vehicle surface should be at room temperature 70F (21°C) or above.

3. Wash and dry the application surface on the vehicle.

4. Use the scissors to cut the decal strip to fit the application area on the vehicle. Allow extra decal material at both ends for trimming.

5. Unroll and lay the decal strip on a clean, work surface with the liner side down, This will allow the decal strip to flatten out.

6. Mix a soap solution in the household spray bottle. To make the solution, use 1 part liquid detergent and 10 parts water. The soap solution is used only for temporary control of the adhesive on the decal strip. The soap solution will make positioning the decal strip much easier.

Installation:

1. Move the decal strip aside and thoroughly soak the work surface with the soap solution

2. Lay the decal strip back on the work surface face down (liner side up) in the soap solution.

3i Wet hands with soap solution and peel the liner away from decal strip.

4. Spray the soap solution on the adhesive side of the decal strip. (Fig. 1)

5. Saturate the application surface of the vehicle with the soap solution. (Fig.2)

6. Position the decal strip on the application surface of the vehicle.

7. Smooth out excessive soap solution with a soft, wet cloth. Work from the center to edges.

8. Lightly spray the entire decal strip with the soap solution. (Fig 3)

9. Use a plastic squeegee or credit card to secure the decal strip and to remove any air bubbles. Work from the center to the edges. (Fig. 3)

10. Dry the entire decal strip with a soft, dry cloth.

11. Use the craft knife or single-edge razor blade and carefully trim the decal strip to fit the contour of the vehicle surface. (Fig. 4)

12. Firmly press down on all corners and edges of the decal strip.

13. Do not wash the decal strip for 24 hours.
