Description: Four Quartets by T. S. Eliot. Eighth impression (June 1951) of the 1944 Faber & Faber edition. Original hardback in the original dust jacket. Jacket shows light foxing, age toning, a small stain to the front cover and minor edge wear. The book is clean internally with a sound binding. A nice early Faber edition of Eliot's celebrated poetic masterpiece.

Included is  newspaper cutting of a portrait of T.S.Eliot which came with the book - cutting undated but from mid sixties.
 
Condition: The book is in very good condition for the age but the dustjacket is marked with age toning and foxing. Inside the book is the name of previous owner and a date of 1952.
