Edinburgh Calton Hill Dugald Stewart Monument Stereoview

This is a stereoview that is 7 x 3¼ inches (175x85mm).

It shows a landscape view of Edinburgh taken from Calton Hill. The Dugald Stewart Monument, a circular stone structure with columns and an urn finial, stands prominently on the right side of the composition. Below the hill, various city buildings and architectural structures are visible, with large hills rising in the background. A fenced path or road runs horizontally across the immediate foreground.

The reverse has a printed label along the right edge reading "Edinburgh From The Calton Hill". There are handwritten pencil annotations including "Circa 1860s", "£15-", and "2122-17", along with some faint, illegible cursive writing.
