Bell Mandrel for Cornet #2 - Fits Larger Bell Flairs, Taper is More Universal

NOTE: I will be listing more brass repair tools this week, keep an eye on my listings.

13 1/2" Long, base of flair almost 4 1/4". I picked up a few of these years ago and have never used them. King bells fit all the way down, Olds Ambassador almost, taper fits many cornets pretty well.

***This mandrel has a slightly different taper than the other cornet bell mandrel that is listed, flair is about the same size, maybe a little bigger than the other listing.

My guess is this would be used as a taper tool since it's graduated.

Body, valves and components are treated in an organic chem clean with Tesch products (Tesch is recommended by NAPBIRT)
Honed, Polished then Hand-lapped finished valves and chambers (This process can take more than an hour)
Complete detail of all components, hot water scrubbed and prepped for assembly
Valves aligned, pads and springs replaced as needed
Play tested and final inspected before listing for sale

***Clean your instrument regularly (especially lead-pipe and tuning slide) and have a chem-clean or ultrasonic clean done every two years. Vintage cases are all disinfected, cleaned and sanitized but there may be a residual horn smell in any old case.

If you have any questions or problems with your instrument, please contact UYB first for any issues if needing to return an instrument for being not as described. Facilitate a quick return process with cordial communication, returns started without communication will take much longer to process. If your instrument is damaged during shipping, you must take a picture of the box with external damage, the packaging and the damage to the case and or instrument. The shipper will not offer any compensation unless these steps are taken.
