We are offering an advertising ruler for Corbett Brothers Co. of Ribbons, N.Y.!

It's foldable, and is made of celluloid. A very early plastic. And very very thin! This thing should not have survived! It measures 1/4" short of 12" long when expanded. It folds to 3 1/2". On it read, "Manufacturers of Pure Dye Silk Ribbons. Importer of Velvet Ribbons and Exclusive Novelties" on one side. The other side reads, "Telephone 5462 Gramercy Corbett Brothers. Co. 222-224 4th Ave at 18 St. N.Y." A lovely piece of our past!
