Grow your own fresh turmeric at home with these healthy turmeric rhizomes suitable for planting.

Turmeric is a beautiful tropical plant that produces lush green foliage and fresh golden-orange rhizomes beneath the soil. It can be grown in garden beds, raised beds or large pots.

You will receive fresh turmeric rhizomes selected for planting. Some rhizomes may already show visible buds or sprouts, depending on the season.

Planting instructions:

Plant the rhizome approximately 5–8 cm deep with the buds facing upward. Choose a warm position with rich, well-draining soil. Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged.

Turmeric prefers warm conditions, partial sun and protection from frost. In cooler areas, it can be started indoors or grown in a pot and moved to a protected location during winter.

Rhizome size, shape and sprouting stage may vary naturally.

Please note that germination and growth depend on temperature, soil, moisture and local growing conditions.
