Grading Scale:
AAAAA (5A) Excellent / “Mint” Condition:
Balls have a look and feel similar to new, showing no or very little wear. May
include balls with logos or modest player pen markings.
AAAA (4A) Very Good / “Near Mint” Condition:
Balls may have a slight scuff or blemish, or a loss of luster. May include
balls with logos or player pen markings.
AAA (3A) Good / Fair Condition:
Very playable balls that may have minor scuffs, blemishes, or discoloration.
Includes balls with logos and player pen markings of all types. Excludes practice,
x-outs, and refinished/refurbished balls.
Shag / Hit-away Balls:
Balls may look worn, discolored, or blemished, and many will have scuffs, but
no cuts. They’re intended for use as practice balls or "hit-aways”. May
include range balls, x-outs, practice, and refinished/refurbished models.
