Beautiful sewing kit needle Etui from the early 19th century around 1830 I would guess.

Appears to be part of the sewing kit seen in last picture. The needle case is the only piece included in this listing.

The case does not appear to be stamped (or invisible punch) but was tested to 18k gold.

There are some symbols or perhaps scratches near the male end while open. I have included microscopic pictures of these marks.

I am including 3 period needles.
