Vintage AIWA WALKMAN TA253 PERSONAL CASSETTE RADIO SUPER BASS for Spares Repair

This auction is for a Vintage AIWA TA253 Walkman / Personal Radio Cassette Player that is missing the battery cover and is being sold for Spare Parts or Possible Repair.  This Personal Stereo has the Super Bass Graphic Equaliser Feature. 

I tried putting some batteries in the unit - the radio seemed to work and the super bass led illuminated - when tape function was selected the spindles seemed to turn - however when i tried to play a tape the player promptly chewed it up - so it is being sold for Spare Parts or Possible Repair Only Please. It is quite an old item so has signs of age and use.  The battery cover is missing. It does not come with any headphones etc.. Please see photos for details..
