A genuinely rare surviving Mappin & Webb suite — hallmarked Birmingham 1932/1936, retailed through their Paris boutique, and complete as a matched graduated set. Sterling silver Art Deco navette (boat) form, rarely found intact after 90 years.

This elegant three-piece suite by Mappin & Webb, celebrated English silversmiths and Royal Warrant holders, features sleek elongated boat-shaped dishes on stepped pedestal feet, with twin bar handles capped in bone segments banded in silver — a striking Art Deco design.

Fully hallmarked to the base: maker’s mark MRWB / MAPPIN & WEBB, anchor (Birmingham Assay Office), lion passant (sterling standard), and Birmingham date letters for 1932 and 1936. Also stamped “FABRICATION ANGLAISE” (English manufacture) with a French boar’s-head import mark, and engraved on the rim “MAPPIN & WEBB, PARIS” — confirming this suite was retailed through their own Paris boutique. A rare, fully documented piece of cross-Channel silver history.
