Beautiful c. 1945 portrait photograph of the most famous and successful Cuban baseball player of the pre-war era, Adolfo Luque. He was one of the first to invade the major leagues and easily the most successful, this was taken as he had switched to managing and found equal success in the Cuban Winter Leagues. Condition and quality are both outstanding!
