Here we have a gorgeous pair of mantel dogs made by Beswick. They come in excellent condition and have clearly been cherished. They are a perfect pair and would look great either side of the mantelpiece. They are miniature; the smallest dogs in the 1378 series which measure approximately 3.5 inches tall by 2.5 inches. They are a timeless pair, so traditionally British in style and a wonderful example from Staffordshire. I think these would date to somewhere around the 1950's or 60's. Excellent value in my opinion.
