This is a pretty elegant ornate Victorian Bon Bon dish dating back to 1896 , made in Birmingham. The dish is crafted from solid silver and carries a sense of history and craftsmanship typical of the  era. Ideal for enthusiasts or collectors of antique silver. 

A Classic design in circular form with flat embossed base with detailed design of winged boy surrounded by flowers. The main body is ten highly decorated with splayed lined pattern to pierced shapes then ornate curled top rim pattern with embossed shapes and flowers .

• "m" for 1896
• Silversmith - marked "W.D" for the illustrious William Devenport  who from 1893 to 1901 at their workshops in Spencer St, Birmingham , then Northwood St, Birmingham . The short production period suggest this piece is somewhat rare.
