This is a handsome Rare pair of classic Corinthian candle sticks, dating back to 1892 , made in Sheffield by Hawksworth Eyre. The sticks are crafted from solid silver with each piece classic design and carries a sense of history and craftsmanship typical of the era. Ideal for enthusiasts or collectors of antique silverware.
The weighted substantial candle sticks are designed in Corinthian form which consists of weighted square base leading to stepped pattern foot to a circular fluted column . The top section is then highly designed flowers and scrolls leading to four section top candle holder, There is a removable candle holder
Fine example of these classic sticks and presents the high quality of this rare silversmith and in excellent condition for the age.

- Silversmith - marked " JKB" for the illustrious Hawksworth Eyre & Co ( James Kebberling Bembridge) who have worked from 1885- 1891 with this mark from their workshops in Nursery Street, Sheffield. This is the last year of manufacturing which makes these pieces somewhat rare.
