Art deco catalin / Bakelite / Phenolic wall light with  Flame / Flambe glass shade.

Description

Rare opportunity to acquire a art deco wall light / sconce. Made from butterscotch coloured catalin/bakelite/phenolic centre column which have lighter yellow swirls throughout mounted on a Chrome backplate. The catalin column are summounted by a 3 tier Chrome gallery which hold the flame shade. This light is a great statement piece to any room.

Condition

The light is in fair vintage condition with no major damage to the lamp, the shade is perfect with no chips cracks or damage.

The lights house regular bayonet fittings and have the original wiring.The base plate has 4 securing loctations for the light to be attached to the wall - please see photos.

The bakelite does have a tiny chip as per pictures

The Chrome is worn and has some light corossion as per pictures,the wiring is original and has NOT been tested 

Light is 34 cm tall approx

Diameter of shade is 14 cm appox
