We are offering the Landing of Columbus by J.E. Stevens toy company!

FIRST: there is question to as if this is a modern version of the 1893 original. We believe that it is the 1970's version.

Pull toy, no string. There's a "paddle" that rolls with the wheels underneath, that hits a "lever" that flips to ring the "bell". Not a perfect "ring" every time...depends if the "lever" flips to the right position. The condition is amazing! Consistent gold coloring. Worn spots but not many. This version has Columbus standing with his flag but the wording, "Landing of Columbus" is NOT on this toy. "Pat'd Oct. 31 1893" is found on one side. Measures approx. 7" long, 3 1/4" back wheels wide and 5" at it's tallest! No breaks, cracks, repairs. Front wheel moves a little stiff. Back wheels seem to roll ok. A very nice example of this toy! NOTE: we've been asked what the "true" color of the toy is...the color in the photos or the color in the video. It's closer to the color in the video. Same counter, same lighting, same toy but 2 different cameras. Sorry for the confusion!
