• C. 1918 HAND EMBROIDERED GREETING CARD “TO MY DEAR WIFE” with an insert card inside the cloth enclosure saying “COMPLIMENTS OF THE SEASON” 

    These were hand made during WW I in France and were very popular with our soldiers sending them home to their sweethearts. They were usually postcards but this one is not. Has a blank back. In excellent condition with light age toning on the cardboard border. The embroidery is in excellent condition.
