This particular copy has been exceptionally well-preserved compared to the very few other surviving examples from this series.
Hardcover Art: The iconic pre-war urban/jazz graphic illustration printed directly on the front cover remains remarkably vibrant, clean, and crisp. Colors (Yellow/Red) are bright and not faded. Shows only very minor, natural vintage rubbing and light edge wear consistent with 90+ years of age, but remains structurally solid.
Binding & Spine: Very solid and firmly bound. The spine is intact and in excellent vintage shape.
Interior & Pages: The pages and text block edge show beautiful, natural vintage browning/tanning and light foxing consistent with 1930s Japanese paper stock. The interior is extremely clean, completely free of any modern writing, severe stains, or major tears. The text and original formatting are fully legible.
