Danny DeVito “Max Fairbanks” production-used "Senator's Bribe" envelopes, cash & notes from the MGM film
"What's the Worst That Could Happen?" (2001)
In the 2001 film, Kevin Caffery (Martin Lawrence), a master thief, attempts to rob the home of wealthy businessman Max Fairbanks (Danny DeVito). Fairbanks catches Kevin in the act and, instead of pressing charges, he steals Kevin's lucky ring, which Kevin's girlfriend had given him. This triggers a comedic battle of wits and escalating revenge as Kevin, determined to get his ring back, pulls a series of pranks and schemes against Fairbanks. Ultimately, the conflict leads them to discover that the ring was a fake, having a message inside meant to encourage them to "Grow up," something they both needed to hear, as their respective partners had given them similar messages. Kevin and Max even end up helping each other out of a jam later on.
