This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Richard Klemm Dresden studio around 1900.  It is a trembleuse cup and saucer with a reticulated gallery the cup fits into to keep it from sliding off onto the floor.  The decoration is quite ornate.  Borders of apple green are accented with intricate hand gilding.  There are cartouches with Watteau scenes in bright colors.  The 18th C. couples are courting in garden landscapes.  #E1960
