Here is a rare specimen of chromium bearing clinochlore var. kämmererite from Kop Krom mine, Kop Daglari, Aşkale, Turkey. The kammererite formed sharp, well formed crystals on the front face with a rich purple-magenta color. A nice piece from the top producing locale for this species! This mine has been inactive for decades, and specimens are much harder to come by these days!
